Art Night is the long Venetian Art Night, an event conceived and organized by Ca' Foscari University in collaboration with the City of Venice born in 2011 and included in the official calendar of European Art Nights. Art Night, which takes place on June 17, the Saturday closest to the summer solstice, involves the city's public and private cultural institutions with hundreds of free events: until late at night extraordinary evening openings of palaces and museums, galleries and foundations, theatrical performances, readings, concerts, exhibitions and workshops. A marathon of hundreds of events that light up the city every year, offering young people, adults and families the unmissable opportunity to enjoy Venice's endless art heritage under the stars.
